Head Coach Mark Ator brings his 18 years
experience coaching football to the CHS Colt Football program.
This is Coach Ator's 14th year as the Head Coach. He has
accumulated a 66-56 football record as Head Coach. During this
time he has taken the Colts to 7 Playoff appearances - 4 of
those being in Class A. The Colts played in the Semifinals in
Class A in 1997 and the Quarterfinals in Class A in both 2000
and 2001.
Coach Ator has also coached the MonDak Game in 1998,
the Shrine Game in 2001,2002,and 2008, and the Class "B"
All-Star Game. |
Coach Bennett has
been assistant football coach for 18 years at CHS.
He took a 2 year hiatus after becoming principal at
FBMS, but the lure of the gridiron brought him back
to coaching.He was defensive coordinator for 10
years under coach Ator before retiring and have been
coaching the offensive and defensive lines since
coming back. This year he is coaching the offensive
line and the bandits on defense.
He has been an
assistant coach in the Class B All Star game as
well.
Coach Bennett has
been married to his wife Cindy for 24 years
and has two children;
Judd is a student at the College of Technology in Billings and Blake,who is a freshman at CHS.

Coach Rohlf is in his 7th season as an
assistant for the Colts after spending two seasons at
FBMS. He is in his 4th season as the
coordinator for special teams, Coach Rohlf is a former Colt who played for Coach Ator before graduating in 1998. Coach Rohlf is engaged to Channing Olsonand has three wonderful children: Braden (9), Jared (7), and Colt (7 months). |
Coach Briggs brings 25 years of coaching experience
to the CHS Colt program. He was the Head Coach for
Mt. Senario, WVU Tech. He was the offensive
coordinator at both the college and professional
levels and has coached defense and special teams at
all levels. |
Coach Boone Nelson begins his 2nd year as an
assistant coach for the CHS Colt football program.
Frank Bratten Middle School is fortunate to have him
as their Head Coach. He is originally from Helena
and is a Carroll College graduate. He moved to
Colstrip after teaching in Phoenix Az. He currently
teaches 4th Grade.
