| The
Technology Lab at PBES is busy all the time. Our Technology Lab
consists of 40 workstations, a color laser printer, scanner,
Smart Board and projector. We also have 2 laptop labs of 24
computers at PBES. All students at PBES Grades K-4 come to the Technology Lab at least once a week for one class period. In addition, all KinderBoost students attend Technology Lab on Tuesdays. Grade 5 students are in Technology Lab twice per week for one period each time. In addition, fifth graders come at least twice a week for keyboarding instruction. The Technology Lab is also used for MAP testing and STAR testing during the year. During those weeks, some regular classes are cancelled. Teachers may also sign up for extra lab time to work on class projects. The Tech Lab teacher is there to facilitate, but the classroom teacher is the instructor during that time. |
