Treat all computers and equipment with respect.
Enter the Technology Lab quietly and use hand sanitizer before sitting down.
Check with the teacher before printing anything.
Help your neighbor if they need it and you are able.
Never touch another person's computer or mouse.
Obtain permission before changing programs or going to the Internet.
Log on using your own name and password.  Log off when finished.
Outside the technology lab, you may eat and drink.
Give  your password to no one.
You may change nothing on the desktop.

Listen for directions before touching any part of the computer.
Ask for help by using the Help Sign.
Be sure to save often.  Remember where you saved and what you called it.

  • Students are expected to follow the above guidelines when in the Technology Lab.
  • Students who choose not to follow the guidelines will be removed from their workstation for a time in line with the infraction.
Each time a class comes to the Technology Lab, the letters TECH will be on the board.  For each infraction of a guideline, one letter will be removed.

At the end of the class period, for each letter left on the board, the class will earn 1 point.

Students who have been extremely cooperative, followed all the guidelines, and had a positive attitude toward their learning that day may be asked by the technology teacher to sign their class's poster.  The class will earn 1 extra point for each signature.

At the end of the month, the class in each grade level earning the most points will be awarded the "Tech Success" award for that month.
